Job Summary Supervises the respective work area (Shipping, LTL, Stock/Receiving, NSD/PFS, 2nd shift) to ensure employees have the tools, skills, and knowledge to perform their work in meeting customers commitments. Maintaining a good relationship with employees by ensuring fair and consistent treatment of everyone. Responsibilities Controls the allocation of labor to receive finished goods, stock within the distribution center, and ship to ACCO Brands customers. Supervises the proper execution of unloading and receiving product from vendors and internal shipments. Supervises the proper execution of loading outbound shipments in order to meet customer requirements. Ensures accurate inventory records are maintained by following installed systems of finished goods inventory management. Ensures the proper training and development of all team members and compliance with the Human Resource and Safety Policies and Procedures. Effectively communicates daily productivity, project updates and areas of opportunity to management. Effectively works with peers to ensure overall distribution center goals are met in a safe and cost-effective manner. Lead and coordinate distribution projects, including inventory optimization, layout redesigns, and system upgrades. Develop project timelines, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with operational goals. Maintain structured workflows and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance with company standards. Organize and prioritize daily tasks for warehouse staff, balancing short-term demands with long-term strategic goals. Responsible for departmental metrics and productivity. Fosters team environment within and between departments. Maintains employee time and attendance. Maintains proper housekeeping. Performs other related duties as may be required. Qualifications Must have a high school diploma or GED. Minimum of four (4) years' experience in a distribution environment with supervisor responsibilities. Knowledge and ability to build and maintain a talented team of employees. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Proven ability to lead, encourage, coach/mentor, and inspire team members to excel in their skills and abilities while providing constructive feedback or corrective counseling when necessary. Ensure fair and consistent treatment of all team members. Proven ability to make decisions, delegate, solve problems, conduct meetings, and represent department at internal and external meetings. Highly proficient computer skills that includes Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel required. Computer experience with SAP is preferred.
