Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily distribution center activities, manage a dedicated team, and ensure seamless logistics processes. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize inventory control, and uphold safety standards, all while fostering a dynamic and productive work environment. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, materials handling, and inventory management to ensure smooth operations. Lead and motivate warehouse staff, providing clear direction and managerial communication to foster teamwork and high performance. Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. Maintain accurate inventory control through regular audits using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems. Coordinate logistics with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and manage distribution center operations aligned with shipping & receiving schedules. Enforce safety standards and promote a safe working environment for all team members involved in heavy lifting and materials handling activities. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse supervision or warehouse management within a distribution environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, and materials handling procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and warehouse management systems (WMS), including inventory management systems and RF scanners. Valid forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment safely. Excellent team management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining attention to safety standards. Familiarity with OSHA regulations, 3PL coordination, shipping & receiving processes, and lean management techniques.
