Team Leader - Machine Operations

Overview Local non woven manufacturer seeks Team Lead with Machine Operator experience. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily machine functions and leading a dedicated team to ensure seamless production processes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with factory experience, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for manufacturing excellence. As a leader on the factory floor, you'll drive efficiency, uphold safety standards, and foster a collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate production activities on the assembly line to meet production targets efficiently. Lead and motivate a team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance. Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot basic mechanical issues, and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed. Ensure compliance with safety protocols by conducting regular safety checks and promoting a safety-first culture among team members. Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and quality documentation to support continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with warehouse personnel to manage inventory levels and facilitate smooth material flow within the manufacturing facility. Skills Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility with hands-on knowledge of assembly lines and factory operations. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and forklift equipment safely and effectively. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage daily operational tasks efficiently. Familiarity with warehouse procedures and experience handling materials in a manufacturing environment. Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues quickly and minimize downtime. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members, maintenance crews, and supervisors. Prior factory or manufacturing experience is highly preferred to ensure smooth integration.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
