Reporting directly to the Head of Installation, this position is responsible for overseeing the daily staging, receiving, organization, and distribution of commercial furniture, architectural products, and project supplies. The ideal candidate will ensure that field installation teams are fully supported with accurate inventory, flawless project staging, and seamless logistical coordination while enforcing strict safety and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities Installation Team Support & Logistics Project Staging:
Coordinate the staging, loading, unloading, and preparation of all commercial furniture and materials specifically aligned with upcoming field installation schedules.Field Liaison:
Support installation teams by managing time-sensitive deliveries, arranging jobsite logistics, handling rapid product movement, and executing final project cleanups.Resource Optimization:
Assist the Head of Installation in developing and adjusting plans to optimize the productivity of warehouse layouts and team resources.Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control Receiving & Inspection:
Oversee the receipt, inspection, and verification of incoming furniture and supplies against bills of lading, checking for quality, accuracy, and transit damage.Inventory Management:
Establish and maintain robust tracking for inbound and outbound product workflows, ensuring high data accuracy within the company's digital inventory systems.Space Optimization:
Organize and maintain designated storage areas to ensure that all bulk merchandise and installation-ready items are stored for optimal accessibility and safety.Leadership & Safety Compliance Team Supervision:
Assist with managing daily schedules, assigning workloads to warehouse assistants, and providing hands-on training to field and warehouse staff.Safety Protocols:
Enforce strict adherence to company safety proceduresFacility Maintenance:
Oversee the safe operation of forklifts, company vehicles, and mechanical equipment, scheduling preventative maintenance tasks as required. Role Qualifications Experience & Education High School Diploma or equivalent required; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business is a plus. 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or senior-level role within a warehouse, logistics, or commercial furniture installation environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for operating company delivery vehicles. Skills & Certifications Active Forklift Certification (or the mechanical capability to achieve certification immediately upon hire). Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong verbal and written communication skills to professionally interface with account managers, designers, clients, installation crews, and vendors. Proven capability to multitask and solve problems rapidly in a high-pressure, fast-paced commercial construction environment. Physical Requirements Stamina to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout an 8-to-10-hour shift. Physical capability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry bulky materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Comfort working in non-climate-controlled environments.Pay:
