Job Description

Job Title:
Warehouse Supervisor We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations and drive operational excellence. This role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, overseeing shipping and receiving activities, maintaining safety compliance, and leading a team of warehouse associates in a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with warehouse management experience, a continuous improvement mindset, and a proven ability to motivate teams while meeting productivity and quality goals. Key Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and productivity. Maintain accurate inventory control and inventory reconciliation processes. Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates and team leads. Manage shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and logistics activities. Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency. Monitor warehouse KPIs, productivity metrics, and operational performance. Support equipment, facility, and fleet management activities. Utilize Microsoft Office tools to track operations, reporting, and scheduling. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications 4+ years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution management experience. Experience with inventory control, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy. Strong leadership experience managing warehouse teams. Proven knowledge of shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes. Understanding of workplace safety regulations and compliance standards. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of direct supervisory experience. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Lean Warehouse, or Six Sigma methodologies. Project management experience. Experience managing warehouse equipment, facilities, and transportation fleets. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denville, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
