Assistant Warehouse Supervisor Location:
Randolph, NJ (On-site)
Position Type:
Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Estimated Pay Rate:
$25.00 - $30.00 / hour Job Description PrideStaff has partnered with a premier, fast-growing property restoration and logistics company in the Randolph, NJ area. We are seeking a reliable, highly organized, and hands-on Warehouse Assistant Supervisor to oversee the safe, efficient handling and tracking of all materials within the facility. This is a dynamic role that bridges the gap between hands-on warehouse operations and team leadership. Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Oversee warehouse technicians and general laborers assigned to meet daily production needs; audit, train, and perform proper packaging techniques to prevent damage.
Logistics & Inventory:
Coordinate contents receiving and scheduling; handle the loading/unloading of fleet vehicles and storage vaults.
Tracking & Audits:
Perform daily audits of digital files and shipping manifests to ensure accurate naming, status, locations, and material receipt.
Equipment Operation:
Safely and efficiently operate pallet jacks, motorized forklifts, and company fleet vehicles (including box trucks).
Facility Maintenance:
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment, including monitoring dock doors and keeping adequate inventory of PPE and tools.
Fleet Management:
Conduct routine vehicle safety and maintenance inspections to ensure all assets remain in safe, serviceable condition.
Job Requirements:
Experience:
Proven experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or logistics (experience in property restoration, moving, or storage is a huge plus).
Technical Skills:
Aptitude to efficiently learn digital inventory tracking systems, iPad applications, and Google Suite.
Licensing & Travel:
A valid US driver's license with an insurable driving record and reliable transportation to/from the facility.
Physical Demands:
Ability to frequently manipulate or lift items weighing between 50-75 lbs.
Communication & Hours:
Clear, confident communication skills; availability to work overtime hours as needed to support production teams during peak volumes.
Pay and Benefits:
Base Hourly Rate:
$25.00 - $30.00 / hour (plus regular overtime opportunities)
