Job Description
About the Job JW Fulfillment is a warehouse and distribution service provider with an extensive warehouse network across North America. We are seeking an experienced bilingual Warehouse Supervisor who is fluent in both English and Chinese to oversee outbound warehouse operations. This position focuses on the handling and shipment of medium- to large-sized products, including picking, staging, loading, dispatching, and shipment verification. The Warehouse Supervisor will lead the outbound team, improve operational efficiency, maintain shipment accuracy, and ensure orders are completed safely and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Supervise outbound warehouse employees, assign daily tasks, and ensure work is completed accurately and on time. Oversee outbound operations, including picking, staging, packing, loading, dispatching, and shipment verification. Manage the safe handling, movement, and loading of medium- to large-sized products. Monitor outbound productivity, order accuracy, loading efficiency, and on-time shipment performance. Verify shipping documents, order quantities, inventory records, and outbound transactions. Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies, damaged goods, missing items, incorrect shipments, and loading issues. Coordinate with inventory, customer service, transportation, and other departments to ensure smooth outbound operations. Train new employees on outbound procedures, warehouse safety requirements, equipment operation, and standard operating procedures. Ensure staging areas, loading docks, and warehouse workspaces remain clean, organized, and safe. Monitor warehouse equipment and report maintenance or repair needs to management. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable workplace health and safety regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of three years of warehouse operations experience, including team leadership or supervisory experience. Experience managing outbound operations and handling medium- to large-sized products is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems, outbound workflows, inventory control, and warehouse best practices. Ability to communicate, read, and write in both English and Chinese, with English used as the primary working language. Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment and lift or move products as required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word and familiarity with warehouse or inventory management systems.
