Warehouse Safety Coordinator Job Description Join our team as a Warehouse Safety Coordinator where you will utilize your skills in operating tablets and computers to access and manage orders effectively. You will play a vital role in transporting materials and cleaning specific tool equipment across the campus. Your daily tasks will also include shipping, receiving, packaging, and labeling of materials while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities Utilize tablets and computers to access orders and perform necessary duties. Transport materials and clean specific tool equipment throughout the campus. Handle shipping and receiving tasks efficiently. Receive orders and deliver them throughout the facility. Package and label materials accurately. Lift items weighing up to 50 lbs as required. Lead safety meetings and trainings. Perform on site safety assessments. Essential Skills Order picking Logistics Proficient computer skills Warehouse experience Shipping and receiving Picking and packing Experience using RF scanners and inventory management systems Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with spreadsheets Attention to detail Ability to stand and walk for 12-hour shifts Why Work Here? The work is conducted onsite in a casual yet safety-conscious environment that adheres to strict policies and procedures. You'll receive an abundance of support and training. Proper attire includes steel or composite shoes that cover the ankles, and a bunny suit is required for factory positions. Be prepared for extensive walking and standing throughout the day as you train for various roles within the warehouse and factory support areas. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rio Rancho, NM. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
