Job Description

Job Description Warehouse Supervisor The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee and manage daily warehouse operations within our facility, ensuring efficient storage, inventory management, and light manufacturing of high-quality products. This role involves leading a team of warehouse associates and light manufacturing operators, leveraging a strong understanding of material handling processes, inventory control systems, and warehouse management principles. The supervisor will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, maintaining accurate inventory levels, upholding safety standards, and supporting production schedules through timely material availability and light assembly operations.

Standard:
Ensure warehouse operations meet established standards for safety, quality, and efficiency while identifying and addressing operational abnormalities in storage, inventory management, and light manufacturing processes.
Organize Work Area:
Maintain and continuously improve the organization, cleanliness, and layout of warehouse spaces, storage areas, and light manufacturing zones to optimize workflow and safety.
Solve Problems:
Lead the warehouse team in resolving inventory discrepancies, material flow issues, and process improvements that enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
Equipment Maintenance:
Oversee regular care and preventative maintenance of warehouse equipment including forklifts, storage equipment, and light manufacturing machinery. Provide Value to
Internal and External Customers:
Ensure accurate and timely material delivery to production departments while supporting external customer requirements through proper inventory management and quality control.
Reporting and Data Management:
Monitor and report on key warehouse metrics including inventory accuracy, material flow efficiency, storage utilization, and team performance indicators.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Work closely with production, purchasing, quality, and shipping departments to ensure seamless material flow and support overall manufacturing objectives. Active prioritization of company mission, values, and culture. Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping Maintain accurate inventory levels and coordinate cycle counting activities Enforce safety standards and OSHA compliance throughout the facility Monitor and report on warehouse productivity and operational efficiency Coordinate equipment maintenance and ensure proper operation of forklifts and machinery Manage workflow optimization and adjust processes to meet operational demands Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and 5S standards Communicate with other departments and external partners on logistics coordination Prepare operational reports and track key performance indicators Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and operational issues Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency Ensure quality control standards for all warehouse activities Manage operational costs and maintain budget compliance Other duties as needed: Job duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time and may include potential transfers to other departments and local facilities.
