  • Summary
  • The Team Lead - Transportation has daily oversight for all local loads and unloads of freight in and out of warehouse facilities.
This role is responsible for the timely movement of equipment in and out of dock areas as well as the coordination of drivers for the purposes of delivery and pick-up. This position requires strong people leadership and coordination skills. This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Las Vegas, NV.
  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • + Daily oversight of warehouse staff + Daily oversight and participation in the timely loading and unloading of shipments in and out of dock area + Ensure compliant utilization of the Transportation Management System + Ensure sound safety and risk policies and procedures through all areas of operation + Assist in training/development, and staffing of staff + Oversee assigned inventory of loading materials + Check drivers in and out of warehouse in accordance to operational policies and procedures + Provide recommendations on Capital Expenditure and planning + Drive teamwork and communication between all warehouse operations + Assists other department heads as needed + Deliver parts between warehouse and show site or other locations as needed + Performs other duties as assigned •Education & Experience•+ High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required + Minimum 2 years of related experience within event production, warehouse management and/or transportation management + Must have valid drivers license •What We Offer•The Freeman Company provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
