Position Description:

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor at our Cortez operations. The successful candidate will oversee supervise technicians and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. Responsibilities:
Ensure that warehouse operations comply with safety requirements promoting the companys safety culture, including training of assigned staff, clearly stating safety expectations, ensure unsafe events are reviewed in a timely manner and 100% compliance with all Nevada Gold Mines and governmental regulations Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods. Ensure daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations. Measure and report the efficiency of warehousing activities and employees performance Organize and maintain inventory and storage area Ensure shipments and inventory transactions accuracy Communicate job expectations and mentor employees to complete team goals Monitor staffing levels and assign workload Collaborate with customers to answer questions or solve problems Maintain items record, document vital information and utilize reports for efficient warehouse management Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative work procedures and practices Develop skills and abilities through ongoing performance measurement and feedback. Confer and coordinate activities with other crews and departments Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred Warehousing or materials background in the mining industry preferred One (1) to three (3) years of warehousing supervision experience preferred Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques required Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data required Strong communication skills, verbal and written required Proven ability to advise and coordinate operations required Strong organizational skills and time management required Valid Drivers License required Strong digital literacy - proficient with computers and in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, etc.) required Receiving and/or Inventory Control experience preferred Experience using SAP preferred Must be able to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations required Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job required What We Can Offer You A comprehensive compensation package including a competitive medical, dental, and vision plan with national provider networks, a 401k retirement plan with employer contribution AND employer match, paid time off, company-sponsored medical clinics, company match share purchase program, and much more!
