Job Description

Randstad is partnering with a premiere manufacturing and distribution leader to find an experienced, high-energy Warehouse Lead. This client operates a massive, state-of-the-art facility distribution hub handling high-volume, heavy construction materials. As a Warehouse Lead, you will bridge the gap between floor operations and inventory management. This is a "working lead" role where you will actively operate heavy material handling equipment, manage physical loading/unloading logistics, and log real-time shipping data digitally. High SchoolResponsibilities Heavy Equipment Operation:
Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, or specialized heavy-duty forklifts to move, stack, and stage oversized construction materials and heavy freight pallets across the facility.
Loading & Unloading:
Oversee and assist with the daily staging, loading, and unloading of inbound flatbeds, freight containers, and outbound carrier trucks, ensuring loads are safely strapped and balanced.
Inventory Control & Cycle Counts:
Lead daily and weekly physical inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure 100% stock accuracy across raw materials and finished goods.
Computer Data Entry:
Utilize the facility's Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Microsoft Excel to log incoming freight, process bills of lading (BOLs), update stock quantities, and generate shipping labels.
Floor Leadership:
Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in delegating daily task lists to material handlers, enforcing strict OSHA safety protocols, and ensuring a clean, 5S-compliant warehouse floor.
