SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Coordinator supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in verifying and keeping records of all inventory transactions by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In addition to those listed in the Summary section above, the following are duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position.

Other duties may be assigned:

Oversees all inventory movements in and out of warehouse based on shop floor requirements. Oversees all inventory related transactions. Oversees cycle counting procedures, receiving, material warehouse storage and work order maintenance. Issues written and oral instructions. Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates. Designs and implements layout of warehouse and staging area to facilitate better use of space and manpower. Provides answers and advises management on all Inventory issues including adjustments and shipping discrepancies. Adjusts errors and complaints. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Availability for daily/weekly overtime. Crosstrain in other positions within the facility based on business needs. Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:

High School diploma or equivalent. Trade School preferred.

Minimum Years of Experience:

2 years of stable work history. Leads and teaches supervised personnel to improve job performance. Must have above average reading comprehension, writing and oral communication skills. Computer skills and telephone etiquette are essential. Technical math required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to office, warehouse, and plant environments. The work environment will require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in certain areas. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
