Express Employment Professionals-Farmingdale, NY is looking for a reliable plumbing and hvac materials handler responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory handling, efficient order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Previous experience in plumbing supplies and air conditioning distribution, or related industries is strongly preferred. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm
FULL TIME.
Key Responsibilities Lead and assist with receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of plumbing materials and supplies. Ensure all orders are filled accurately and delivered on time. Provide direction and hands-on support to warehouse associates. Oversee inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper product storage. Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams regarding stock levels and order discrepancies. Manage loading/unloading of trucks and verify all incoming/outgoing shipments. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred). Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of all equipment. Support walk-in customers and will-call orders when needed. Work with delivery drivers and vendors to ensure smooth logistics. Qualifications 2+ years of warehouse experience , preferably in plumbing, construction, or industrial supply. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes. Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift certified-sit down). Excellent communication, leadership, and time-management skills. Ability to lift to 45lbs-50lbs and work on your feet throughout the day. #2127LI
