Job Summary Job Title:
Mechanics Garage Yard Coordinator S.A. Comunale is seeking a Mechanics Garage Yard Coordinator. This position will be working in the mechanic garage performing various duties to ensure the efficient operation of the shop, maintain organization of equipment in the yard, ensure safety movement of lifts and vehicles. These duties include general staging and moving equipment, equipment placed in proper locations, cleaning equipment, picking up material from vendors if needed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Safely drive lifts, lulls, tow-motors, and vehicles. Organization of equipment yard. Bringing equipment to the mechanics as needed. Running equipment prior to shipment. Staging of equipment for shipment. Drive Company vehicles to run errands when needed. Power wash returned equipment as needed. Be aware of surroundings to work safely. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. High School Diploma or GED is required. 1+ years of related work experience is required. Vocational or industry trade school is a plus. Ability to obtain a current DOT Medical Card is required. Valid driver's license with clear driving record is required. Previous experience operating lifts, tow-motor and forklift is a plus. Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required.
