Job Description

XYAB is one of the fastest growing video game accessory and parts distributors. We supply video game retailers across the country with video game accessories and parts.

https://xyab.com/ We're hiring a Warehouse Team Lead to own our inbound operation. This person is the first line of accuracy for everything that enters our warehouse — confirming that what we ordered is what arrived, catching and resolving discrepancies before they ever reach inventory, and leading the receiving team that keeps our shelves stocked and our records clean. Because we import a high volume of product, precise and well-documented receiving directly protects our inventory accuracy, our customer commitments, and our customs compliance. The right person is detail-obsessed, calm in a fast-paced environment, and a natural leader who can hold a team to a high standard while keeping morale high. Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and clear communication are essential to success in this role. What you'll do: Check in inbound shipments against purchase orders, packing lists, and invoices, verifying SKUs, quantities, and condition Identify, document, and resolve discrepancies — shortages, overages, damages, mislabeled or incorrect items, and country-of-origin marking issues Reconcile receiving discrepancies with vendors, our purchasing team, and our customs broker, and track each to resolution Maintain accurate, timely records in our inventory/ERP system and ensure received product is correctly labeled, put away, and stored Lead, schedule, train, and develop the receiving team, setting clear standards for both accuracy and throughput Coordinate daily with shipping, purchasing, and operations to keep inbound flow moving and clear bottlenecks early Keep the warehouse and receiving area organized, safe, and audit-ready Perform regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels. Assigning logical Home Locations for new SKUs and ensuring that like items are not next to each other to prevent picking errors. Identifying urgent back-ordered items that should skip the shelf and go straight to the Fulfillment station to be shipped immediately. Monitoring stock levels in the active picking area directing associates to replenish from backstock. Ensuring every pallet and individual unit is labeled correctly before it hits the shelf so the scanners work for the fulfillment team. Responsible for waste management processes including baling cardboard and making sure recyclables are properly sorted.
