Job Description
Position Summary :
The Receiver is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing inbound shipments. This role ensures timely and precise receiving, labeling, and reconciliation of goods while supporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimize floor operations utilizing the WMS systemPrimary Responsibilities:
Execute floor-based receiving processes directly at the dock. Receive inventory based on incoming shipment details in the WMS system. Print and apply pallet labels via mobile printer using ASN format. Complete all reconciliation tasks on the floor. Verify product quantities and inspect for damage or discrepancies. Communicate any receiving errors or issues immediately to the supervisor. Maintain accurate records of received goods in the warehouse management system. Organize and stage pallets for put-away or cross-docking. Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper handling procedures. Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed. Operate RF scanners and mobile devices for real-time data entry. Collaborate with other departments to resolve shipment discrepancies.Knowledge/ Skill Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent logistics or supply chain coursework preferred. 1+ years of warehouse receiving experience. Familiarity with warehouse management systems Ability to operate mobile printers and handheld scanners. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Proficient in inventory control and reconciliation. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Adaptability to evolve processes and technology.Physical Demands:

Ability to multitask and handle crisis situations in a calm and effective manner. Frequent standing, walking, and lifting during shift. Occasional climbing, crouching, kneeling. Must be non-allergic to the extent of being present in the building through the workday.Work Environment:
