You will own the flow of every customer order — from receipt to shipment — while acting as the primary point of communication between customers, production, and logistics. This is not a sit-back, process-only role.

Review incoming orders, specs, and requirements quickly and accurately. Identify missing or unclear information and resolve it — immediately. Customer Communication (This Is Critical) Serve as a primary point of contact for customers. Handle daily calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and urgency. Provide updates, solve problems, and manage expectations in real time. Confidently handle complaints and high-pressure situations. Shipping & Logistics Coordinate and prioritize daily shipping activity. Ensure orders are packaged, documented, and shipped correctly and on time. Schedule freight, coordinate pickups, and communicate with carriers. Receiving & Job Intake Oversee incoming customer material, verify accuracy, and ensure proper identification, tagging, and routing. Quickly align priorities with production. Lead a Small Team Lead and direct 2-3 shipping, receiving, and order entry team members. Set daily priorities, adjust as conditions change, and jump in hands-on when needed. Qualifications Required:
- 3+ years in shipping/receiving coordinating & order management/logistics.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Comfortable with ERP/MRP systems, shipping software, and email (BlueStreak experience is a plus)
- Forklift experience
Preferred:
- Heat treating, aerospace, or metal processing background

- CDL or large vehicle experience (helpful as a backup driver)
Physical:
