Warehouse Supervisor will be expected to perform at a level necessary to meet and exceed customer expectation and satisfaction for Intrastate Grove City relocation services and warehouse operations. This goal will be achieved by managing/leading the daily functions and productivity requirements of the local operations team at E.E. Ward, while executing the EE Ward standard of Customer Service Experience. Warehouse Supervisor Job Description This focus is on maintaining Commercial Accounts, Household Goods warehousing, and all other general warehouse activities. Maintain Commercial Accounts inbound and outbound activity. Manage all documents through an organized filing system for records related to shipping, receiving and storage of customer products including inventories, and OS&D. Maintain Commercial Accounts customer communications, i.e. phone calls, emails, faxes, etc. Manage the software system, using the program to meet the needs of the Warehouse, Customers and Account Managers. Facilitate accurate and timely distribution of paperwork and warehouse records, supporting Customer and Management requests, meeting standard deadlines. Manage, create, and produce the daily, weekly and monthly Warehouse reports, accurately and within the required timeframes, meeting all deadlines. Maintain high level of exceptions writing on HHG shipments coming in and out of warehouse. Work with operations on daily activity for the warehouse. Attend daily huddle meetings for warehouse activities. Assist the Operations Supervisor with the following activities: o Use caution and safety in ALL Warehouse activities. Report any safety violations to the Warehouse Manager. o Coordinate, monitor, and track all aspects of shipping and receiving with a high degree of accuracy, including inventory quantities, weights, and the condition of all products. o Complete ongoing training and educational activities required to support Warehouse operations. o Obtain forklift certification. Safely operate forklift at all times. Use great care when loading and unloading trucks, stocking, picking, maneuvering, customer product. o Ensure storage of all materials within the racks is completed safely, and efficiently. Store, pick and stack product following proper lifting practices. Limit height and weight while using altering tie layers to create safe and stable pallets. o Perform verification of quantities and conditions of all goods and products being shipped and received throughout the daily operations of the Warehouse, for all Commercial and Household Accounts. o Receive Household goods, confirming all items on original inventories are present, while noting any new damages by physically inspecting each item. o Ensure the proper safety and operational protocols are being adhered to daily by all Warehouse Associates, particularly as goods and products are being padded and vaulted. o Guide and prioritize Warehouse Associates tasks and activities as required, driving efficiency in the daily operations of the Warehouse. o Report any overages, shortages, or damages directly to the Operations Supervisor or Branch Manager. o Securely store, sign out, sign in all company equipment and materials. o Maintain vehicle inspection reports and activity on company equipment o Maintain accurate report on packing material IN and OUT, help place packing orders and keep packing isle neat and orderly. Qualifications:
  • Management experience 1-2 years, Moving & Storage experience preferred
  • Forklift certification required
  • Experience with warehouse management software, Microsoft and Google
  • Must be highly organized with attention to detail
  • Experience in coordinating operational needs to support over all business objectives
  • Clear and concise communication is a must in this position
Pay:
$50,000.00
  • $60,000.
