Distribution Supervisor

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Distribution Supervisor to lead and optimize our warehouse and distribution operations. In this role, you will oversee daily logistics activities, manage inventory control processes, and ensure efficient warehouse distribution. Your leadership will drive process improvements, uphold safety standards, and coordinate shipping and receiving functions to meet operational goals. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, quality control, and materials handling. Lead and manage warehouse staff, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high productivity and safety compliance. Oversee inventory control procedures using computer platforms to maintain accurate stock levels. Coordinate logistics operations with third-party logistics providers (3PL), ensuring timely delivery and shipment accuracy. Implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize workflow. Materials handling tasks. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards across all warehouse activities. Skills Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse distribution, and logistics principles. Proven experience in warehouse supervision with a focus on process improvement initiatives. Proficiency with warehouse management for inventory tracking and reporting. Skilled in materials handling equipment. Excellent team management abilities with a focus on training, motivating, and developing staff. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, 3PL coordination, and e-commerce fulfillment processes.
