Warehouse Team Leader

A management team with a customer-first focus ensures we sustain our valued customer-base and supplier partners and presents us well when new partners visit our operations. The ideal candidate has warehouse leadership experience and must be exceptionally detail oriented; able to track multiple facets of the assigned warehouse functions daily. Expectations & Responsibilities Supervise/perform daily activities of the warehouse operation: including quality assurance, inventory control, receiving, shipping, logistics, and customer service. Sustain customer loyalty by meeting ship cycle time expectations and presenting clean and organized (housekeeping) work spaces that will delight our will call customers. Meet operational goals and objectives for: Fulfillment Performance Timely and correct receipt of inbound materials Cycle Counting Establish and maintain timely and effective communications with all reporting structures keeping all informed of facility problem areas as well as other relevant operational issues. Establish a team-oriented environment with open and consistent administration of BHC policies and practices Maintain training programs for assigned personnel (2-7 team members) Create an environment of continuous improvement Actively maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly. Oversee general maintenance of the infrastructure Review, analyze, and develop plans for loss prevention Requirements High school diploma or GED 2+ years experience as a warehouse supervisor or team leader Proficient knowledge of automated inventory systems Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities Ability to remain calm in challenging situations Ability to work with all levels of company staff Involves physical exertion and requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs
