ASSISTANT WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR OVERVIEW
The Assistant Warehouse Supervisor plays a key leadership role in supporting the efficient daily operation of the warehouse and delivery functions. This position works closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse associates and drivers. Responsibilities include overseeing the loading and unloading of trucks, coordinating material movement within the facility, ensuring accurate inventory handling, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and helping to deliver an outstanding customer experience through timely and professional product deliveries. The Essentials:
Ability to work weekends and occasional evenings as needed High school graduate or equivalent (some college or supervisory training preferred) Minimum 2+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (must be able to clear insurance) Experience operating forklifts, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Solid computer and technical skills (inventory systems, Microsoft Office, etc.) Strong logic, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure Ability to stand, walk, and move freely for extended periods Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. with proper techniques and team assistance when needed
