In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate and timely dispatch of goods. Your expertise in warehouse management systems, order picking, packaging, and freight handling will be essential to maintaining smooth distribution workflows. Responsibilities Effective verbal and written communication for liaising with customers and carriers. Experience with shipping, freight, or logistics procedures. Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Create, review, and release shipment paperwork, including packing lists, commercial invoices, and airway bills. Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to schedule collections and ensure timely delivery. Address discrepancies, shipping errors, and customer service queries regarding delivery status. Coordinate and manage shipping and receiving activities, including load and unload operations using forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks. Prepare shipments by labeling, documenting, and ensuring compliance with safety standards; verify orders against packing lists using basic math skills. Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize workflow efficiency Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all load & unload activities while operating equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks. Skills Proven experience in warehouse management system (WMS), shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment processes. Strong proficiency with RF scanners, or similar ERP systems, and basic math for inventory calculations. Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely; forklift certification preferred. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stocking, order picking & packing, and documentation accuracy. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members across warehouse distribution functions. Physical ability to perform load & unload tasks repeatedly while maintaining safety standards.
