Supply Chain / Distribution Operations Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse & Logistics Engineer / Supervisor to oversee third-party warehouse and inventory operations supporting a fast-paced industrial supply chain environment. This role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, safe material handling, efficient inbound/outbound logistics, and continuous operational improvement across multiple warehouse locations. The ideal candidate will have experience managing warehouse operations, coordinating transportation and inventory activities, and driving process optimization initiatives in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Key Responsibilities Warehouse & Inventory Operations Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inspection, inventory control, storage, and outbound shipping activities. Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation, and real-time system updates. Manage material handling processes while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards. Coordinate outbound shipments to ensure customer specifications and quality requirements are met. Monitor asset utilization and support maintenance coordination for warehouse equipment and storage assets. Optimize warehouse workflows, material movement, and transportation efficiency to improve overall operational performance. Support return logistics processes and identify cost-saving opportunities in transportation and routing. Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate with multiple manufacturing sites and distribution partners to support shipping schedules, urgent orders, and special material requests. Assist with KPI tracking, reporting, and operational data analysis. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on logistics efficiency, inventory management, and process standardization. Work closely with supply chain, operations, and external vendors to resolve logistics and inventory-related issues. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 3-5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control processes. Strong understanding of inbound/outbound logistics and warehouse best practices. Experience in industrial, manufacturing, chemical, or regulated environments is a plus. Strong analytical skills with experience monitoring KPIs and operational metrics. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across different operational sites. Preferred Skills Process improvement and operational optimization mindset. Strong attention to detail and accountability. Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and compliance requirements. Experience working with third-party logistics providers or remote warehouse operations. Ability to lead projects and drive operational improvements independently.
