Crating/ Shipping Lead

JOB SUMMARY

S upports daily crating and shipping operations while coordinating logistics, inventory, and shipment tracking. This role requires strong Excel skills and hands-on shop experience, with the ability to lead work activities while actively assisting in the shop as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily shipping and crating jobs Pull parts and materials for shipments Track inventory and shipments using Excel and internal systems Process shipping paperwork and documentation Build crates and assist with hands-on shop work as needed Operate power tools and material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, crane) Support and guide team members to meet shipping deadlines

Qualifications:

Experience with Excel and basic shipping/logistics coordination Ability to manage multiple priorities Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working in both office and shop environments What will put you ahead: Crating, shipping, inventory, or warehouse experience Previous lead or coordination experience Familiarity with power tools and industrial settings

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to go up and down stairs. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must have physical stamina to stand, stoop, bend, squat and kneel eight (8) or more hours per day. Must be able to frequently lift 50lbs or more. Must possess sufficient visual acuity, depth perception, and color vision to accomplish job tasks. Must be able to tolerate shop environment and exposures associated with welding and industrial equipment manufacturing, and apply appropriate safety equipment as required. Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in company duties. Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
