Job Description

Copiers Northwest Portland Distribution Center Hours:
Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
Pay Rate:
$30-33 per hour DOE Job Summary The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing daily workflow, space allocation, and labor/task assignments within the warehouse. Key duties include reviewing open orders throughout the day, assigning labor and priorities to support customer needs, maintaining communication and service quality for internal customers and branches, assigning projects based on business needs, and following up to ensure tasks and goals are completed on time. This role also ensures company resources are used responsibly and requires a strong understanding of facility operations, including the ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
Key Duties :
Manage daily workflow of the warehouse Operate forklift, pallet jack or other hand trucks Unload inbound trucks and monitor for damage Fill out and file paperwork to CNW standards Perform quality checks for both inbound and outbound equipment Train and monitor warehouse assistants Monitor work floor safety Perform cycle counts Communicate effectively Maintain cleanliness of warehouse including picking up garbage, sweeping floors, keeping warehouse aisles clear of debris, and monitoring garbage and recycling levels Other duties as assigned Education/Experience High School Diploma or equivalent is required 2-year prior experience in a leadership role, preferably with warehouse experience Strong understanding of OSHA regulations Skills and Qualifications Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and customer service skills Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and collaboratively Sound judgment and initiative in decision-making Reliable, accountable, and receptive to feedback Ability to follow company procedures and meet attendance requirements Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, preferred Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills Physical and Environmental Demands Ability to hear alarms, communicate clearly, and analyze problems effectively Ability to read and understand technical documents and procedures Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally May require work outside normal business hours, including mornings and evenings Must have reliable transportation and meet minimum insurance requirements Ability to work in a variety of customer and warehouse environments Benefits Package Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401K with employer match Paid vacation + flexible PTO Holidays off with pay Complimentary life insurance policy
