Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and perform maintenance tasks on facility systems, including refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and material handling equipment. Support preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. Assist in coordinating repairs, upgrades, and vendor/contractor activities. Ensure adherence to company safety policies and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, USDA, FDA). Monitor facility conditions and promptly report issues requiring management attention. Provide guidance and daily direction to maintenance staff and contractors. Maintain accurate logs, reports, and compliance-related documentation. Collaborate with operations teams to ensure facilities meet service and operational needs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Associate's degree or technical training in Facilities Management, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 3+ years of experience in facility or maintenance operations, preferably in a warehouse or food distribution environment. Strong hands-on knowledge of building systems, refrigeration, and/or HVAC equipment. Understanding of workplace safety and regulatory requirements. Ability to lead, train, and coordinate maintenance teams across shifts. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
