Job Description

About the Role HEPA Filter Sales is a 25-year-old specialty e-commerce retailer selling OEM and premium replacement air and water filtration products to homeowners, facilities teams, and commercial buyers. Accuracy and reliability aren't just values on a page here — they're what happens when the right filter goes out the door on time, every time. We're looking for someone who treats that standard as personal, not procedural. This is an on-site, part-time role built around one clear priority: every outbound order picked, packed, and ready for pickup by 3:00 PM, daily, without needing to be reminded or supervised. Around that core responsibility, you'll help keep the office and warehouse running — light phone and email coverage, inventory and returns processing, and a few recurring tasks that keep the operation moving. This is also a role with room to grow — we want someone who notices better ways of doing things and speaks up, not just someone who follows steps. Who This Role Is Perfect For This schedule was built to fit real life. If you're dropping kids off for the bus in the morning and want to be back at that same bus stop in the afternoon, 11:00 AM-3:00 PM is made for that — no early mornings, no evenings, no juggling. It's just as good a fit for retirees looking for steady part-time hours, or anyone who wants consistent, predictable work without a full-time schedule taking over their day.
Beyond the hours:
if you genuinely enjoy talking to people on the phone — a warm, pleasant voice, patient with questions, happy to help someone figure out what they need — that instinct matters more here than any resume line. And if the idea of learning why clean air actually matters for people's health is interesting to you rather than just another product to memorize, you'll fit right in. Primary Accountability — Daily Order Fulfillment This is the anchor of the role. Everything else is secondary to this getting done, correctly, every day. Pick, pack, and label all outbound orders Prepare shipments and stage for UPS pickup All orders ready and staged by 3:00 PM, Monday-Friday — without direct daily supervision Keep the packing area organized and stocked Catch and flag order discrepancies before they ship, not after Secondary Responsibilities Front-desk phone coverage — general customer inquiries, order questions, and coordinating with vendors and delivery drivers Inventory receipts — process incoming inventory receipts in our inventory management system Inventory transfers — process inventory transfers and rebalancing in our inventory management system Returns & exchanges — receive, inspect, document, and process customer returns and exchanges Customer email support — review incoming customer email inquiries; respond directly to straightforward questions, and flag priority or complex issues for follow-up Low-stock flagging — flag products running low so they can be reordered; placing reorders isn't part of this role, but noticing before we run out is Product labeling — label products for customers and keep pre-labeled stock on hand and ready to ship Amazon FBA prep — prepare outbound FBA shipments per prep requirements Process improvement — as you learn how things run here, we want your ideas on doing it better; this role has real room to grow with the company Schedule & Location Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM-3:00 PM (4 hrs/day, ~20 hrs/week) On-site at 1111 Primrose Avenue, Camp Hill, PA 17011 Consistent, predictable hours — this is a steady, ongoing role, not a gig Compensation & Classification $17-$20/hour , based on experience, paid bi-weekly W-2 employee — taxes withheld, workers' comp covered Benefits Paid Holidays — New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas (when falling on a regularly scheduled workday) Paid Time Off — accrues at 1 hour per 37 hours worked, up to 30 hours/year What We're Looking For Attention to detail that's genuine, not performative — you notice when something's wrong before it ships, because you actually care what's in the box Comfortable working independently, without someone checking in on you hour to hour No heavy lifting — physically able to lift and move boxes (up to 30 lbs) Friendly, professional phone and written communication for general customer and vendor inquiries Reliable — when you're scheduled, you're here, on time, every day Someone who notices ways to make things run better and speaks up — this isn't a "just follow the steps" role Prior warehouse, shipping, fulfillment, or light office/admin experience is a plus — not required; we'll train you on our products and systems This Isn't the Right Fit If You need constant check-ins to stay on task You'd rather move fast and loose than double-check what you're packing You're looking for something occasional or flexible-schedule — this role depends on being here, same time, every weekday Phone calls make you uncomfortable To Apply Please send: A resume A brief description of yourself and any relevant experience (warehouse, fulfillment, office, or customer-facing work) Confirmation you can reliably work Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM-3:00 PM on-site in Camp Hill Anything else you'd want us to know
