About the Role The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity. This role leads warehouse staff, coordinates logistics, and ensures timely receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. What You'll Do Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company policies Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and audits Ensure all shipments are processed accurately and on time Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards Monitor warehouse equipment and coordinate maintenance as needed Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to meet business goals Prepare reports on inventory levels, productivity, and operational performance Resolve issues related to shipping delays, inventory discrepancies, or staff concerns Perform additional tasks and support other operational responsibilities as business needs require What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred 3-5+ years of warehouse experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts) and maintain certifications if required Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience with ERP systems (e.g., D365, SAP, Oracle) Lean or Six Sigma experience is a plus Bilingual abilities preferred (if applicable to workforce) Work Environment & Physical Requirements Fast-paced warehouse setting May require evening, weekend, or overtime hours depending on operational needs Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions (temperature, noise, etc.) Dexter cares for our people.
