Job Description

Inventory & Order Fulfillment Coordinator We are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Inventory & Order Fulfillment Coordinator to join our team. This position plays an important role in keeping our inventory accurate, preparing customer orders, and helping ensure our drivers have everything they need for timely and accurate deliveries. The ideal candidate is comfortable working both on the computer and in a warehouse/inventory environment. Strong organizational, math, spreadsheet, and computer skills are essential. This position also offers the opportunity to learn and grow into additional purchasing and inventory management responsibilities. Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure products are properly stocked.
  • Maintain established minimum and maximum inventory levels and identify products that need to be reordered.
  • Receive, unpack, inspect, and organize incoming shipments.
  • Verify incoming products and quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Accurately enter and maintain inventory information in our computer system and spreadsheets.
  • Pull and prepare customer orders from inventory.
  • Check orders for accuracy and completeness before delivery.
  • Organize completed orders and prepare them for drivers to load and deliver.
  • Assist with coordinating customer orders and delivery preparation.
  • Keep inventory and warehouse areas clean, organized, and easy to navigate.
  • Help investigate and correct inventory discrepancies.
  • Communicate with coworkers regarding inventory needs, shortages, incoming products, and customer orders.
  • Interact professionally with customers by phone, in person, or electronically as needed.
  • Begin learning the purchasing process, including monitoring stock requirements, preparing purchase orders, communicating with vendors, and tracking incoming materials.
  • Assist management with inventory reports, purchasing information, and other administrative duties as needed. Qualifications
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
  • Comfortable learning inventory, purchasing, and order-management software.
  • Good math skills and ability to work accurately with quantities, pricing, measurements, and inventory counts.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple orders and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, customers, vendors, and management.
  • Previous inventory, warehouse, order fulfillment, purchasing, or administrative experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
