Erie, PA Job Type:
Full-Time Target Start Date:
July 1st At Hardinger Warehousing, we do logistics differently. We don't just move freight and manage inventory—we build seamless, high-value supply chain partnerships that keep our clients moving forward. To keep our high standards alive on the floor every single day, we are looking for a highly motivated, forward-thinking Warehouse Site Supervisor to step up, lead our team, and anchor our daily warehouse operations. This isn't a passive, office-bound role. We need a visible, energetic leader who thrives on the warehouse floor, loves solving puzzles, and takes pride in a perfectly optimized facility. Working closely under the wing of an experienced Site Manager, you'll oversee shipping and receiving, drive inventory precision, and actively develop a high-performing floor team. Fast-Track Your Career in Logistics Are you early to mid-career with big professional ambitions? We are intentionally seeking a leader who wants to stay with us long-term and climb the ranks. If you have a solid foundation in warehouse operations but are hungry for formal mentorship, operational visibility, and a clear developmental roadmap toward a Site Manager or Operations Director role, this position was designed for you. Living Our Core Pillars Our culture is built on four core values. We don't just put these on posters; we live them out every shift. Here is how you will bring them to life: Team Powered:
Great supervisors lead from the front, not from an office. You will drive performance metrics (KPIs) by coaching, motivating, and holding your team accountable. You will lead impactful shift huddles, foster an open-communication culture, and build an environment where people actually enjoy coming to work. Making it Easy:
You strip away friction. You'll orchestrate smooth, safe, and logical daily floor operations. From auditing inbound paperwork to balancing shipping schedules and maximizing storage configurations, you make complex logistics look effortless for our team and our clients. It's Handled:
Absolute dependability. When inventory variances arise, you investigate and resolve them. When a safety risk or equipment issue pops up, you flag and fix it immediately in tandem with our Director of Safety. When a client hands us an urgent request, they can rest easy knowing you are on it. Driven to Innovate:
We reject the phrase "we've always done it this way." You will actively hunt for inefficiencies. You'll bring continuous improvement ideas to the table, apply Lean or 6S principles to eliminate floor waste, and custom-engineer workflows for unique client repack and value-added requests. Key Responsibilities & Scope Floor Operations & Execution Supervise and coordinate the daily unloading, staging, stacking, and loading of all client products with maximum productivity and care. Ensure absolute paperwork precision, cross-checking inbound/outbound documents with drivers and verifying exact counts. Oversee value-added services, repack operations, and custom kitting, ensuring proper manpower and material allocation. Inventory Control & Technology Maintain the absolute structural integrity of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and barcode scanning environments. Troubleshoot, root-cause, and resolve inventory overages, shortages, and damages. Lead regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits with meticulous attention to detail. Safety, Quality & Compliance Champion strict adherence to safety standards, equipment training protocols (forklifts, reach trucks, stretch wrappers), and ISO requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and secure 6S facility environment at all times. Complete and track necessary administrative compliance modules and performance metrics. What You Bring to the Team Experience:
3-5 years of progressive hands-on warehouse operations experience with proven exposure to client service, inventory control, and floor leadership. Leadership Style:
A natural coach who uses strong communication and positive reinforcement to motivate a team, manage accountability, and resolve floor conflicts constructively. Tech & Analytical Savvy:
Highly comfortable navigating WMS platforms, RF barcode scanners, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook). Strong math skills and a natural ability to analyze data to solve practical logistics puzzles. Education:
A College or University degree is strongly preferred; an equivalent track record of professional growth and continuous certifications will be highly valued. Physical & Operational Requirements:
Comfortable standing/walking the floor all day, bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Passing standard pre-employment verification, drug screens, and comprehensive background checks is required. What We Offer You Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage packages. 401(k) Retirement Plan paired with an aggressive company matching contribution. Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) package to rest and recharge. 10 Paid Company Holidays per year. Your Birthday is a PAID Holiday! A formal professional growth roadmap with real operational mentorship.
