We can make the future a brighter place for years to come. We are seeking a Shipping Supervisor for our afternoon shift that will report directly to the Shipping Manager. This position is responsible for providing a pro-active safe working environment while directing the work of multiple production employees. The incumbent Supervises the Safety, planning, scheduling, traffic, shipping, finished stock inventory management, reporting, and follow-up of all logistical activities. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating customer order releases against current inventory and future production to determine carrier pick up requirements. The successful candidate will help coordinate transportation process. The incumbent is ultimately responsible for meeting world class on-time delivery goals and managing freight costs Bachelors degree in related field desired but not required 3-5 years of Logistics/Shipping experience in a manufacturing environment Strong leadership, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
