Responsibilities:

As a Shipping Supervisor you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Key responsibilities include:

Supervise the loading of trucks, ensuring all items and counts are accurate. Lead, guide, and inspire the shipping team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Supervise shipping labels, documents, and paperwork to streamline logistics processes. Process outbound shipments with a keen eye for detail. Coordinate outgoing shipments, collaborating with various couriers to ensure timely deliveries. Assist in the creation and implementation of processes to increase efficiency and productivity. Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following: Leadership skills to guide and motivate the shipping team effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask. Proficiency with computers, email, and Google Suite applications. Exceptional communication skills to interact with team members and external partners. Previous supervisory experience, demonstrating the ability to lead and Supervise a team. Experience in the furniture industry is a plus.
