Starting at $24/hr Position Summary The Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company warehouse supporting janitorial operations throughout the Pittsburgh area. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory levels, ordering supplies from approved vendors, coordinating material distribution to field teams, and ensuring the warehouse remains organized, accurate, and operationally efficient at all times. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently. This position requires strong computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets and supplier ordering systems, as well as the ability to manage inventory using just-in-time practices while ensuring critical supplies are always available to support field operations. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management & Purchasing Receive and process supply and material requests from field personnel. Order janitorial supplies, consumables, and equipment from approved vendors. Maintain proper inventory levels using just-in-time inventory practices while ensuring products are consistently available when needed. Monitor inventory usage and anticipate supply needs to prevent shortages. Minimize unnecessary surplus inventory while maintaining operational readiness. Maintain accurate inventory records, spreadsheets, and purchasing documentation. Perform monthly inventory reconciliation and investigate discrepancies. Warehouse Organization & Accountability Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, safe, and properly stocked at all times. Maintain organized storage systems for products, equipment, and supplies. Enforce warehouse logging procedures and ensure all products removed from the warehouse are properly documented. Monitor inventory movement to reduce waste, loss, and unauthorized product removal. Vendor & Supplier Coordination Maintain relationships with approved vendors and suppliers. Utilize supplier websites and online ordering platforms to place and track orders. Coordinate direct-to-jobsite shipping arrangements whenever possible to improve efficiency and reduce warehouse handling. Resolve vendor, shipping, or delivery issues in a timely manner. Logistics & Field Support Coordinate material distribution for field operations throughout the Pittsburgh area. Deliver or arrange delivery of supplies and materials to job sites when field personnel are unable to pick up materials from the warehouse. Ensure timely fulfillment of operational requests to support uninterrupted customer service. Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse coordination, inventory management, purchasing, logistics, or a related role preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and basic computer systems required. Comfortable using online vendor ordering systems and supplier portals. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
