Shipping Coordinator InterMetro Industries relocation assistance Sep 09, 2026 Description Are you looking for an opportunity to contribute to an innovative, industry leading company? InterMetro Industries is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join our Wilkes-Barre Distribution Center. This position will be responsible for compiling and maintaining records of outbound/inbound product shipments. Primary Responsibilities 1. Coordinates with warehouse to ensure timely and accurate shipment of orders. 2. Verifies packing lists and prepares bills of lading and other documents as required. 3. Works with customer service to resolve or expedite sales orders. 4. Confirms or determines method of shipment for sales orders, by using computer to look up, verify, print, or enter data. 5. Assists in ordering and creating purchase orders. 6. Signs drivers in and notifies warehouse employees for dock assignment. 7. Arranges outbound pick up appointments with carriers. 8. Operates office machines such as calculating, fax, copy machines, and PC. 9. Possess knowledge and understanding of the Code of Business Ethics. Contribute to a workplace environment that is conducive to the maintenance of the Code. Remain alert and sensitive to situations that could result in actions by an employee that are illegal, unethical, in violation of the Code or the policies and procedures that support the Code. Report actual or perceived violations of the Code or Company policies and procedures for appropriate action. 10. Other duties as assigned.
