Job Description

Akkodis is seeking an Automotive Fleet Operations Coordinator for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate is responsible for coordinating vehicle readiness, maintenance, scheduling, and transportation logistics while ensuring fleet compliance and operational efficiency.
Rate Range:
$22/Hour to $22.50/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Automotive Fleet Operations Coordinator Job Responsibilities include: Manage day-to-day operations of the prototype vehicle fleet, ensuring vehicle readiness, availability, and proper utilization. Coordinate vehicle inspections, maintenance, repairs, fueling, detailing, and fleet logistics activities. Schedule vehicles and testing resources, supporting vehicle movement between testing and evaluation locations. Administer driver authorization programs, vehicle access, compliance requirements, and fleet documentation. Maintain fleet assets including vehicle keys, fuel cards, usage records, and operational reports. Support vehicle testing, benchmarking, data collection, and communication with engineering and product development teams.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma, associate degree, or bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Automotive Technology, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in Fleet Operations, Vehicle Fleet Administration, Automotive Logistics, Transportation Operations, or related automotive support functions. Experience coordinating vehicle scheduling, maintenance, inspections, repairs, and logistics within a fleet, dealership, rental, or transportation environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate various prototype and production vehicles while maintaining compliance and operational documentation. Pay Details:
