Responsibilities Manage inventory levels accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track stock movements and ensure precise inventory control. Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, stocking, and order picking tasks. Conduct stock replenishment, order fulfillment, picking & packing activities to meet shipping deadlines and customer expectations. Handle shipping & receiving processes by verifying inbound/outbound shipments, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and maintaining detailed records. Perform materials handling tasks such as heavy lifting, load & unload operations, and mechanical maintenance of equipment to ensure safety standards are upheld in compliance with OSHA regulations. Support warehouse distribution efforts by organizing storage areas, stocking materials systematically, and ensuring optimal space utilization. Assist in packaging products securely for shipment while adhering to quality standards; operate warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and mechanical lifts as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of all warehouse activities including inbound/outbound logs, incident reports, and inventory adjustments using systems like AS400 or similar platforms. Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed at all times; participate in regular safety training related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse procedures. Experience Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with a strong understanding of inventory management principles. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, order pickers, and other heavy equipment safely. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, stock replenishment or manufacturing environments preferred. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and heavy equipment operation. Mechanical aptitude or basic knowledge of mechanical systems is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues.
