Position Description This position is responsible for administrative duties, including overseeing warehouse employees and supporting Shipping & Receiving to include collection of production schedule information, trucking schedules and correspondence with customers on shipment related matters. The successful candidate will also engage in a variety of projects supporting multi-functional departments from time-to-time. This position will be reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor. Key Responsibilities Read, comprehend, and follow work instructions and Standard Work. MOS warehouse improvement. Must work well with multiple departments/people. Use good judgement solving problems and making independent decisions and escalate to immediate supervisor when necessary. Must be qualified to use a forklift and other material handling devices. Review and understand production schedules and their impact on outgoing shipments. Communicate requirements clearly to Material Handlers and Shipping and Receiving team Assist with cycle count program. Fill in as needed for trucking and warehouse functions. (ex. Vacations, Sickness, busy periods throughout the day) Manage deliveries to warehouse and work with trucking companies on delays or other issues. Oversee handoff from 1st to 2nd shift to ensure picks and transactions are covered. Other Duties as assigned.
Required Education & Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and easily adapt to changing situations Basic Math Skills Analyzing Information Excellent organization skills Ability to work independently and confidently with limited direction Willing to work across all shifts as needed Willing to attend training for further development Must be qualified to perform the duties of the occupation in accordance with quality and quantity standards and to perform the physical, mental, and visual requirements of the job in a safe and efficient manner Experience and proficiency in the following required: SAP Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel - Charting, Pivot Tables, Formulas and Function very strongly desired.
Microsoft Power Point Microsoft Outlook Education Requirements:
High school diploma of GED required.
