Job Description

Position:
Warehouse Supervisor Duties:
Responsible for daily operational functions. Responsible for management of warehouse staff, overall warehouse goal setting, initiating business plans, project implementation and commitment to achieve excellence within all operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Implement systems, processes, configurations, and change/optimization projects as planned. Develop, recommend, and implement process and procedure improvements and warehouse operations systems. Evaluate, develop, and implement policies and procedures for receipt and shipment of products, equipment utilization, and inventory management. Lead by coaching and counseling to foster the professional growth and development of associates. Oversee and train staff to correct operations system issues. Analyze, recommend, and execute enhancements with all warehouse systems and optimization opportunities. Monitor and analyze data to ensure the efficient operation of data management systems. Closely monitor inventory transactions of company owned materials on and off-site. Manage expiring inventory, damages, and non-compliant materials to mitigate financial loss. Work cross-functionally with Quality and Production staff to continuously improve ways of working. Manage all building and property requirements to maintain a safe and clean environment. Experience:
Warehouse set-up and zone planning experience a plus. Five years minimum in warehousing and order consolidation. Two years minimum in Supervisory or management position. Two years minimum in shipping or freight management.
Education:
Minimum High School Diploma Goals:
Establish plan for product storage, rack requirements, equipment requirements, etc. Establish process for order flow and efficiency. Shipping all daily orders via scheduled tours or LTL-Parcel packages same day. Train personnel for consistency, efficiency, and quality in put away, packing, and shipping. Monitor all cycle counting as required for daily and reconciliation counts. Maintain positive professional attitude, work environment and communication.
