Job Description

Warehouse Night Shift Supervisor We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team at AMCON Distributing Company, working closely with the Assistant Warehouse Manager. As a Night Shift Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations and provide leadership and guidance to warehouse personnel during the second shift, working Monday - Thursday, starting at 11am each day.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist in overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations. Support the implementation of warehouse procedures and policies. Supervise and train warehouse associates, ensuring proper workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Assist in monitoring warehouse performance metrics and implementing improvement initiatives. Conduct regular inspections to maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Assist in resolving any customer inquiries or complaints related to warehouse operations. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and efficient communication. Provides work leadership, guidance and training to personnel. Reviews and conducts personnel issues, including performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, etc. to all shift personnel, consulting with Assistant Warehouse Manager and Human Resources if necessary. Solves complex work related problems. Responsible for the safe operation of material handling equipment. Establishes and maintains quality standards and work ethics.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field is a plus. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role. Knowledge of warehouse operations. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and software. Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to lift heavy objects (50-70#) and perform physical tasks as required. Knowledge of safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
