Job DescriptionThe Equipment Coordinator will maintain laboratories (including mobile laboratories), testing equipment, supplies and shipping requirements across business lines. This role will also fulfill shipping/receiving duties. This person will receive direction from senior lab and operations staff as well as the warehouse manager.

Prepare, organize field equipment for shipping, coordinate with logistics company to shipWarehouse tasks Maintain field equipment - including cleaning and general maintenanceMaintain and coordinate supply chain for laboratory supplies - Calibration Gases, Chemicals, and Consumables and refills of SCBA Coordinate off-site field equipment repairs and maintenanceCreate shipping manifests, packing lists, and commercial invoicesAssist/Manage the shipment of Dangerous Goods (training for certification will be provided)Assist/Manage MSDS's for location, hazard labeling, chemical storageArrange for 3rd party analytical testing of samplesAssist with some internal lab testing parameters (To be defined)Pick-up of suppliesDelivery of field supplies (Cal Gases/DG) to CouriersMaintain company vehicles and mobile lab trailers (general maintenance)Provide general support and assistance to senior personnelComplete personal time sheets and expense reportsMiscellaneous additional tasks for the region as directedQualificationsHigh School Diploma with a technical affinity (Required)1-3 years related experience (Required)Additional InformationSGS is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and as such we recruit, hire, train, and promote persons in all job classifications without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetics, status as a protected veteran, or any other characteristics protected by law.
