Available Benefits Help for . #HGCY26 Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to warehouse or other designated areas by hand and/or hand-truck/moveable bins. Opens shipments, checks for the condition of materials and verifies for accuracy of all the items received against purchase orders. Updates inventory for orders received; works to reconcile any discrepancies. Sorts and places supplies on warehouse racks, shelves, cabinets or in bins according to predetermined criteria (size, type, style, color, location ID, etc.). Delivers supplies timely and accurately upon staff requests. Maintains par-level for all supply items in the warehouse and all departmental unit storage and intake area shelves. Works in a clean well-lit environment with fluctuating temperatures. Depending on your position, your job may require substantial periods of work utilizing a computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Your position may require lifting and carrying equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 pounds; require pushing and pulling equipment and supplies weighing up to 75 pounds; require walking and standing; require sitting; requires the ability to negotiate stairs; require the ability to reach or bend frequently; require visual acuity and manual dexterity to operate equipment.
