We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team of 4-5 warehouse associates in a hands-on, fast-paced industrial environment. This is a player-coach role . You will not be behind a desk—you will be on the floor, on forklifts, and actively working alongside your team to ensure orders are pulled accurately, safely, and on time. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of 4-5 warehouse order pullers Work side-by-side with the team in daily warehouse operations Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed Oversee order pulling of hardwood lumber, plywood, moldings, cabinetry hardware, abrasives, adhesives, and related products Ensure accuracy, speed, and quality control in all order fulfillment Train, coach, and develop warehouse team members Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment Enforce company standards for productivity, safety, and accountability Assist with staging, loading, receiving, and outbound logistics as needed Inventory Management & ERP Responsibilities (Critical Function) This role is heavily responsible for inventory accuracy and control , including: Receiving incoming product accurately and verifying shipments against purchase orders Properly tagging, labeling, and staging inventory upon receipt Performing regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies Maintaining accurate stock locations and warehouse organization Operating and updating our ERP system for: Receiving transactions Inventory adjustments Order fulfillment and picking validation Cycle count entry and reconciliation Ensuring inventory accuracy is consistently maintained and improved over time A strong understanding of warehouse systems and disciplined inventory control practices is essential. Required Qualifications Prior experience in a warehouse supervisory or lead role in an industrial environment Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred or willingness to certify) Physically able to perform warehouse duties (lifting, moving materials, loading/unloading) Strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead from the floor Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Ability to learn and operate ERP or warehouse management systems Preferred Qualifications (Strong Plus) Experience in hardwood lumber, plywood, moldings, millwork, cabinetry hardware, or related distribution Bilingual English/Spanish (strongly preferred and highly valued) Prior experience with inventory control, cycle counts, and warehouse audits Experience training or leading warehouse teams Strong familiarity with ERP systems or warehouse management systems (WMS) What We're Looking For A hands-on leader who earns respect by working alongside the team A transformative leader who improves people, process, and performance—not just maintains it Someone who takes ownership of inventory accuracy and warehouse results A "get it done right the first time" mentality A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and improve processes A leader who can hold the line on quality, safety, and accountability Growth Opportunity This role offers significant opportunity for advancement for the right person.
