Job Description

SHIPPING & RECEIVING SUPERVISOR

On-Site Schedule:
Days 7am-7pm (weekends and holidays as needed)

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to oversee daily dock operations, inventory management, and inbound/outbound shipments in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role leads the forklift team, ensures accurate material handling, and steps in to support the Facility Manager as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Dock & Inventory Leadership:
Oversee inbound/outbound shipments, manage physical storage, verify cargo staging, and ensure accurate documentation. •
Team Supervision:
Lead, assign, and manage daily administration for the Forklift Driver team; perform general labor and loading/unloading duties alongside the crew. •
Facility Support:
Step in for the Facility Manager in their absence and assist with broader warehouse operations. •
Safety & Quality:
Enforce OSHA regulations, client safety rules, and Quality Manual procedures. Require proper PPE at all times.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Certifications & Licensing:
Valid driver's license required; must pass the client Forklift Driver Exam (theory and practical). •
Physical & Environmental:
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs; comfortable working indoors/outdoors in variable weather conditions. •
Core Skills:
Basic math proficiency, fluent in English (written and verbal), strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work with minimal supervision. •
Flexibility & Punctuality:
Strict adherence to start times; willing to work non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
