Mobile Distribution Coordinator Bring Food, Hope, and Resources Directly to Communities in Need Are you energized by hands-on work, community engagement, and making a visible impact every day? Join the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore as a Mobile Distribution Coordinator and help deliver nutritious food and vital support to individuals and families across our service area. Our Mobile Distribution Program plays a critical role in reaching communities where access to food may be limited due to transportation barriers, geographic challenges, or economic hardship. Through these distributions, we bring healthy food and essential resources directly to neighbors where they live, work, and gather. As the Mobile Distribution Coordinator , you will work under the direction of the Mobile Distribution Manager and serve as a key member of the team responsible for delivering efficient, safe, and impactful mobile food distributions throughout Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. In this dynamic role, you will: Coordinate and support daily mobile distribution operations Help implement scheduled food distributions across diverse communities Maintain distribution equipment, vehicles, and supplies Manage onsite logistics to ensure smooth and organized events Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and community partners Create a positive and welcoming experience for neighbors receiving services This position offers a unique opportunity to combine logistics, community service, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
