This role serves as a critical link between warehouse leadership and floor operations, helping drive productivity, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills, warehouse experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support warehouse employees, providing direction, coaching, and accountability to ensure operational goals are achieved. Coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receiving, storage, and shipping activities. Monitor workflow, prioritize tasks, and support the timely movement of freight and inventory. Communicate operational priorities, status updates, and potential issues to management and warehouse staff. Assist with scheduling, workload planning, and resource allocation to meet customer and business requirements. Maintain accurate records and system updates related to warehouse and shipping activities. Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and quality expectations. Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, efficiency, and customer service. Help maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment. QualificationsRequired 2+ years of warehouse, logistics, distribution, or transportation experience. Previous experience in a supervisory, lead, or team leadership role within a warehouse or logistics environment. Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, and freight handling processes. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing operational demands. Experience using warehouse management systems, transportation systems, or logistics software. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications. Preferred Experience coordinating warehouse teams or leading daily operations. Experience with LTL, truckload, and container freight operations. Forklift certification or experience working in a forklift-driven environment. Knowledge of transportation and logistics industry best practices. Physical Requirements Ability to work in a warehouse environment. Ability to work in various weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Ability to work around moving equipment, trailers, and warehouse machinery.
