In this vital role, you will oversee daily distribution activities, manage inventory control, and ensure the seamless flow of goods through efficient logistics processes. Your leadership will drive process improvements, uphold safety standards, and foster a motivated team dedicated to excellence in warehouse management. This position offers the opportunity to shape operational success while supporting a fast-paced, innovative environment committed to continuous growth. Staff, train, evaluate, and develop team members. Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse ensuring safety and efficiency of all warehouse processes. Schedule warehouse team members to meet business needs. Ensure proper stock rotation for raw materials and finished goods. Maintain inventory accuracy for shipments and production. Oversee shipping and receiving functions as applicable Ensure site and department security. Manage within labor and OPEX budget. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, materials handling, and order fulfillment to meet operational goals. Manage inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) Lead and develop a team of warehouse staff, providing training on forklift operation, safety processes, and best practices in warehouse distribution. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline warehouse workflows. Oversee compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards, ensuring safe heavy lifting practices and mechanical knowledge application. Conduct regular audits for inventory control, shipping & receiving accuracy, and materials handling procedures. Conduct audits to maintain compliance with all SQF guidelines. Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and maintaining forklift operations safely and report mechanical issues to our material handling partners. Experience Minimum 5 years proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehouse leadership role with a strong background in warehouse experience and team management. Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, logistics coordination, and warehouse distribution processes. Familiarity with warehouse management systems, and inventory control software (ROSS). Hands-on experience with forklift operation certification and materials handling equipment. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy lifting, mechanical operations, and warehouse safety protocols. Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
