Must have a flexibility on shift Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management, including inventory control, logistics, and team management. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient warehouse distribution and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance with OSHA regulations. Manage the performance of employees as well as hourly paid employees under his/her responsibility, resolve performance issues, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine their needs and expectations and operate the account to meet those demands. Be responsible for the payroll of employees and time cards Analyze weekly and monthly P&L statement to determine account profitability, and provide financial data and weekly operations report to senior management. Be responsible for accounts payable, vendor quotes for purchased materials, and customer invoicing. Hold Safety & Security meetings, provide safety training and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Manage inventory control processes to optimize stock levels and minimize discrepancies. Oversee shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely processing of orders. Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Train, mentor, and lead warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage logistics effectively. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using AS400 or similar systems. Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers as needed for seamless operations. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse management or as a Warehouse Supervisor. Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and materials handling techniques. Familiarity with e-commerce logistics and shipping & receiving processes. Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory levels. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations. Previous experience in team management within a warehouse setting is preferred.
