This role is responsible for leading warehouse associates across unloading, loading, picking, putaway, storage, and dock operations while ensuring safety, productivity, accuracy, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse distribution experience along with lead or supervisory experience in a high-volume environmen t. This position will also support the Distribution Operations Manager and assist with leadership responsibilities as needed. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day warehouse and dock operations including unloading, loading, picking, putaway, and storage activities Assign work to distribution associates and monitor productivity and workflow efficiency Support the Distribution Operations Manager in achieving SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) targets Continuously monitor trailer and product flow to ensure efficient operations Define operational priorities and develop solutions during bottlenecks or workflow disruptions Train and support warehouse associates on operational procedures and safety practices Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and warehouse operating procedures Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and support facility 5S programs Assist with maintaining facility leadership boards and operational tracking activities Support operational leadership coverage when the Operations Manager is unavailable Maintain accurate and organized workflow while supporting overall distribution efficiency Follow all company compliance, confidentiality, and internal control procedures Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 3 years of warehouse or distribution experience preferred Minimum 1 year of lead or supervisory experience required Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make operational decisions in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively Experience supporting warehouse productivity, safety, and operational efficiency initiatives Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs Physical Requirements Ability to perform extremely heavy lifting throughout the shift up to 100 lbs Ability to work inside trailers and on warehouse dock floors for extended periods Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment throughout the shift Preferred Experience Warehouse distribution center operations Dock operations and trailer flow coordination Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives 5S implementation and warehouse organization practices Leadership experience in fast-paced warehouse environments #CB #P1 #
