Warehouse Supervisor

Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, materials handling, and order fulfillment to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Manage inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 to maintain optimal stock accuracy and control. Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff on safety protocols, operational procedures, and best practices for heavy lifting and materials handling. Coordinate logistics with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure timely distribution and delivery schedules. Implement process improvements to enhance workflow, reduce errors, and increase productivity across all warehouse functions. Oversee forklift operations, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and mechanical safety guidelines. Conduct regular safety audits, enforce OSHA regulations, and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members. Requirements Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehouse management role with strong leadership skills. Extensive knowledge of inventory management, warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, and materials handling processes. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, and logistics software such as OS400. Valid forklift certification with experience operating forklifts safely in a busy environment. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is highly desirable. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety standards applicable to warehousing environments.
